לָכֵן דַּבֵּר־אוֹתָם וְאָמַרְתָּ אֲלֵיהֶם כֹּה־אָמַר ׀ אֲדֹנָי יֱהֹוִה אִישׁ אִישׁ מִבֵּית יִשְׂרָאֵל אֲשֶׁר יַעֲלֶה אֶת־גִּלּוּלָיו אֶל־לִבּוֹ וּמִכְשׁוֹל עֲוֺנוֹ יָשִׂים נֹכַח פָּנָיו וּבָא אֶל־הַנָּבִיא אֲנִי יְהֹוָה נַעֲנֵיתִי לוֹ (בה) [בָא] בְּרֹב גִּלּוּלָֽיו׃
Therefore speak to them, and say to them, Thus says the Lord God; Every man of the house of Yisra᾽el that sets up his idols in his heart, and puts the stumblingblock of his iniquity before his face, and comes to the prophet; I the Lord will answer him that comes with the multitude of his idols;

לְמַעַן תְּפֹשׂ אֶת־בֵּֽית־יִשְׂרָאֵל בְּלִבָּם אֲשֶׁר נָזֹרוּ מֵֽעָלַי בְּגִלּוּלֵיהֶם כֻּלָּֽם׃ {ס}
that I may catch the house of Yisra᾽el in their own heart, because they are all estranged from me through their idols.

למען תפוש את בית ישראל וגו'. בדיל לקרבא ית בית ישראל למתן תיובתא בלבהון:
נזורו. כמו נזיר אחיו (ראשית מט) פורינ"ט אשיברי"ץ בלע"ז:
נעניתי לו. שויי"ש רפונדו"ץ בלע"ז אע"פ שהוא בא לפני ברוב גלוליו כן ת"י:
