וַיְהִי בְּעַשְׁתֵּֽי־עֶשְׂרֵה שָׁנָה בְּאֶחָד לַחֹדֶשׁ הָיָה דְבַר־יְהֹוָה אֵלַי לֵאמֹֽר׃
And it came to pass in the eleventh year, on the first day of the month, that the word of the Lord came to me, saying,

בֶּן־אָדָם יַעַן אֲשֶׁר־אָמְרָה צֹּר עַל־יְרוּשָׁלַ͏ִם הֶאָח נִשְׁבְּרָה דַּלְתוֹת הָעַמִּים נָסֵבָּה אֵלָי אִמָּלְאָה הׇחֳרָֽבָה׃
Son of man, because Żor has said against Yerushalayim, Aha, she is broken that was the gates of the peoples: she is turned to me: I shall be filled with her that is laid waste:

על ירושלים. שהיתה במצור:
האח. לשון קול שמחה:
נשברה דלתות העמים. עיר שכל העכו"ם היו נכנסים לה לסחורה מעתה תשבר כי לא ילך המצור מעליה עד תלכד:
נסבה אלי. מעתה הוסבה סחורות העמים אלי:
אמלאה החרבה. אתמלא אני מן העיר ירושלים החרבה:
לָכֵן כֹּה אָמַר אֲדֹנָי יֱהֹוִה הִנְנִי עָלַיִךְ צֹר וְהַעֲלֵיתִי עָלַיִךְ גּוֹיִם רַבִּים כְּהַעֲלוֹת הַיָּם לְגַלָּֽיו׃

וסחיתי. ועקרתי כמו בית גאים יסח ה' (משלי ט״ו:כ״ה) ונסחתם מעל (דברים כח):
לצחיח סלע. לפי שהיתה בנויה בסלע בתוך הים כשתנתץ ויסח עפרה אל הים נשאר הסלע חלק וכן ת"י לשעיעות כיף גלי:
מִשְׁטַח חֲרָמִים תִּֽהְיֶה בְּתוֹךְ הַיָּם כִּי אֲנִי דִבַּרְתִּי נְאֻם אֲדֹנָי יֱהֹוִה וְהָיְתָה לְבַז לַגּוֹיִֽם׃
It shall be a place for the spreading of nets in the midst of the sea: for I have spoken it, says the Lord God: and it shall become a spoil to the nations.

משטח חרמים. על הסלע ישטחו הדייגים את חרמי מכמרותם לנגבם:
