עִבְרוּ עִבְרוּ בַּשְּׁעָרִים פַּנּוּ דֶּרֶךְ הָעָם סֹלּוּ סֹלּוּ הַֽמְסִלָּה סַקְּלוּ מֵאֶבֶן הָרִימוּ נֵס עַל־הָעַמִּֽים׃
Go through, go through the gates; prepare the way of the people; bank up, build up the highway; clear the stones; lift up a standard for the people.

סלו סלו המסלה. כבשו הדרך בטי"ץ לוקמי"ן בלע"ז סולו לשון מסלה הוא:
סקלו מאבן. סקלו המסילה והשליכו אבני מכשול לצדדין, סקלו אישפירייא"ן בלע"ז:
מאבן. מהיות שם אבן וכנגד יצר הרע הוא אומר, ויש עוד לפותרו על תיקון הדרכים לקבוץ הגליות:
הרימו נס. כלונס פורקא בלע"ז אות הוא שיקבצו אלי ויביאו לי את הגולים אצלם:
הִנֵּה יְהֹוָה הִשְׁמִיעַ אֶל־קְצֵה הָאָרֶץ אִמְרוּ לְבַת־צִיּוֹן הִנֵּה יִשְׁעֵךְ בָּא הִנֵּה שְׂכָרוֹ אִתּוֹ וּפְעֻלָּתוֹ לְפָנָֽיו׃
Behold, the Lord has proclaimed to the end of the world, Say to the daughter of Żiyyon, Behold, thy salvation comes; behold, his reward is with him, and his wages before him.

הנה שכרו. שמוכן לתת לעבדיו מוכן אתו:
ופעולתו. שכר הפעולה שפעלו עמו לפניו הוא מוכן לתת:
וְקָרְאוּ לָהֶם עַם־הַקֹּדֶשׁ גְּאוּלֵי יְהֹוָה וְלָךְ יִקָּרֵא דְרוּשָׁה עִיר לֹא נֶעֱזָֽבָה׃ {ס}
And they shall call them, The holy people, The redeemed of the Lord: and thou shalt be called, Derusha (Sought out,) a city not forsaken.
