כֹּה ׀ אָמַר יְהֹוָה עוֹד יִשָּׁמַע בַּמָּקוֹם־הַזֶּה אֲשֶׁר אַתֶּם אֹֽמְרִים חָרֵב הוּא מֵאֵין אָדָם וּמֵאֵין בְּהֵמָה בְּעָרֵי יְהוּדָה וּבְחֻצוֹת יְרוּשָׁלַ͏ִם הַֽנְשַׁמּוֹת מֵאֵין אָדָם וּמֵאֵין יוֹשֵׁב וּמֵאֵין בְּהֵמָֽה׃
Thus says the Lord; Again there shall be heard in this place, (which you say shall be desolate without man and without beast, namely, in the cities of Yehuda, and in the desolate streets of Yerushalayim, that are without man, and without inhabitant, and without beast,)

קוֹל שָׂשׂוֹן וְקוֹל שִׂמְחָה קוֹל חָתָן וְקוֹל כַּלָּה קוֹל אֹמְרִים הוֹדוּ אֶת־יְהֹוָה צְבָאוֹת כִּי־טוֹב יְהֹוָה כִּֽי־לְעוֹלָם חַסְדּוֹ מְבִאִים תּוֹדָה בֵּית יְהֹוָה כִּֽי־אָשִׁיב אֶת־שְׁבוּת־הָאָרֶץ כְּבָרִאשֹׁנָה אָמַר יְהֹוָֽה׃ {ס}
the voice of joy, and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom, and the voice of the bride, the voice of them that shall say, Praise the Lord of hosts: for the Lord is good; for his loyal love endures for ever: when they shall bring the sacrifice of thanksgiving into the house of the Lord. For I will cause the captivity of the land to return, as at the first, says the Lord.
